Tessa has a new home. Her foster mom has asked to adopt her. We of course said yes. Her new mom will be paying for her spay and her entropian surgery which will be taken as Tessa's donation. There are no words to tell ALL of you that helped Tessa become the dog she is today. Your kindness and generosity are truly amazing. Please know that Cascade Bulldog Rescue/Rehome, Inc could not have done it with out you.
Thank you.

Tessa - March 10th Update
Hello just wanted to give you a quick update on Tessa. She had chest rads today which, per the doctor, looked great. The yeast and bacteria infection in her ears has cleared up and now just requires routine maintenance to keep them that way. Her skin is looking a lot better. There are still a few spots of concern but overall her skin is looking great. She has entropian in both eyes which will require surgery to correct.
I got her a play pen so she could watch tv with me and my other four legged babies. She wants to play with them so badly. I have a 5 year old english bulldog named Boozer who is in love with her! He sleeps by her kennel very night and cries if he can't find her. Needless to say she has been a terrific foster!
A round of applause to all of Tessa's sponsors. To date you have donated a total of $1,540 toward her rehabilitation fund. She has many months of care ahead of her. Thank you.

Tessa Update 24FEB07
Tessa's status from her foster mom: "Just wanted to send some new photos of Tessa. Her skin is improving! She is very itchy but her skin is not as inflamed. Bath time is not her favorite time but she stands there like a champ. The doctor said her lungs sounded a lot better, but to continue with meds. She has the funniest personality! She's a little wiggle butt. She also has gained a pound!"
A round of applause to all of Tessa's sponsors. To date you have donated a total of $1,200 toward her rehabilitation fund. She has many months of care ahead of her. You have earned the status of "Tessa's Angel"

Tessa arrives!
Tessa is a 6 month old bulldog and came to rescue with an extreme case of Demodectic Mange. Her entire body was swollen, red and inflamed, and completely covered in pus, she also had a fever.
She is being fostered by a wonderful bulldog experienced vet tech who took her home just a little while after she was surrendered that evening, since it was late her foster mom made her comfortable til morning. She goes to the vet each day her foster mom is working. The vet has now assesed her with a yeast infection from head to toe, including her ears.
She has pneumonia which is causing more issues. Her foster mom says even in the state she is in, once she got some meds in her, and was more comfortable, she came to life and is such a happy puppy.
She battles the itching and discomfort of being trapped in her raw skin; she is getting lots of love and attention from her foster family; she absolutely loves to be held and is a huge hit with the staff at the veterinary clinic.
It's not Tessa's fault that she is in this state. She is the product of extremely irresponsible breeding (Indian Creek Kennel - Newport, WA). Her family tried to take care of her but her problems were just too numerous. Can you help bring this little girl back to health? Sponsor her - donations of $25.00 or higher will be issued a receipt for tax porpuses. . .
